Candidate Profile
- The candidate should have 8 years+ experience managing and implementing FO solutions for Financial Markets, Market Risk Management/Product Control, Credit Risk Management and Structured/General Lending systems. The candidate must be dedicated, energetic and self-motivated, with good communication skills and can thrive in a high-pressure environment. Knowledge of Summit, Kondor+, Murex and/or Sophis will be required, as will understanding of database technologies.
Key Requirements
- Fluent written and oral English language skills are essential
- Experience interacting with traders and front office management
- Requires general knowledge of Capital Markets products, including FX, MM, Bonds, Swaps, Options and other Derivatives, Structured Products and Exotics
- Understand concepts of interfacing and reconciliation between systems
- Must be able to work in a team and maintain a pleasant attitude while in a high-pressure environment
- Demonstrate a willingness to independently learn and improve skills
Overall Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of projects which the candidate advises, manages and reports directly to the Head of Solutions Delivery (Front Office) on all aspects of project co-ordination
- Ensure that the implementation, support, project planning and resource scheduling is in line with ING Group policies, standards, guidelines & procedures
- Co-ordinate and ensure that Global/Regional projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Maintain good business knowledge of the systems and markets that ING participates in locally and globally.
Main Duties
- Provide project planning on all front office applications related projects (Financial Markets, Market Risk Management and Product Control, Credit Risk Management and General and Structured Lending) • Organise and document regular project meetings
- Provide RAG status monitoring on all project activities
- Work with IT disciplines for resource management
- Work with IPBCM for risk analysis and review of security standards within the organization
- Ensure Service Transition procedures, including change control and release management, are adhered to
- Ensure projects adhere to the ING Global Project Life Cycle Model
- Provide recommendations to management on how to improve project delivery
- Provide vendor management for individual projects
- Regular status reporting to management

- Travel to other Asian locations or Head Office will be required

Job responsibilities
- To open new accounts and serve existing clients across the energy sector
- The sales person is responsible for the complete process; from identifying prospective customers, showing them the product and bringing them on board as customers - no hard sell is required with our Client’s products
- Responsible for making sales presentations
- Some account management will be required – Quotation, Follow-up, Sales Order Process, Order Status Up-date, Closing Sales, regular reporting
- Achieving sales targets as developed and agreed with the management for the assigned market and services
- Ensuring clients are kept up to date with appropriate rates, service information and relevant marketing materials
- Attending sales meetings, marketing promotions and other industry related functions when required
Job Requirements
- • A graduate or have 3 years work experience (sales not entirely essential)
- An excellent phone manner as well as being presentable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to build long term relationships
- Good spoken and written English is essential
- Spoken Mandarin is an advantage
- Able to operate a computer and knowledgeable in basic computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Good public relations and negotiating skills
- Strong desire to succeed and work within target orientated environment
Other Information
- Reporting to the Business Development Manager, Singapore
- Salary up to $4,000 per month based on experience and qualifications
- A generous commission is applicable for this position • Working hours 9am to 6pm (5 day week)
